Warrior Swimming’s Brynlee Yoder Verbals to Army for 2027
NEW COMMIT: Futures qualifier Brynlee Yoder of New Paris, Indiana, has announced her verbal commitment to the United States Military Academy at West Point and will arrive on campus in Fall 2027.
She will join Kalyn O’Hara, Jordyn Kendler and Amelie Meyer as a member of the Black Knights’ Class of 2031.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am incredibly excited and proud to announce my verbal commitment to swim, study, and serve at the United States Military Academy at West Point! All glory to Jesus Christ who has guided me through this process. To my family, I am so grateful for your unwavering support throughout this journey and always showing up for me, I love you all. Thank you to my teammates and friends for your kindness and support for me throughout the years. Additional thanks to my coaches for pushing and strengthening me every day to get to this moment. A HUGE shoutout to Coach Scott and the rest of the Army coaching staff for this unbelievable opportunity, thank you all! I am so honored to join AWSD and become part of the Long Gray Line. GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!”
A versatile swimmer, Yoder trains year-round with Warrior Swimming and most recently competed at the Indiana Summer Spectacular where she earned a best time in the 50m free. She was a five-time finalist at Indiana Senior Championships in March where her highest finish was a sixth-place showing in the 400 IM.
Her best times include:
- 200 IM – 2:05.12
- 400 IM – 4:30.08
- 100 fly – 58.42
- 100 breast – 1:06.26
- 500 free – 5:01.73
A senior at Concord Community High School, Yoder finished 13th in the 500 free and 15th in the 200 IM at the 2026 Indiana State Championships. She raced to 13th in both of those events at the state meet as a sophomore in 2025. She is a four-time Indiana Sectional Championship gold medalist.
The Black Knights are coming off a second-place finish at the 2026 Patriot League Championships where they produced seven All-Patriot League selections and the Women’s Swimmer of the Meet in Angie McKane. Army set seven program records and six meet records at the conference championship.
