USA Water Polo Announces Rosters for Inaugural 4×4 Open Championships
USA Water Polo has announced the athletes selected for competition at the inaugural 2026 World Aquatics Water Polo 4×4 Open Championships next week in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The world’s newest water polo format takes center stage from August 31 to September 6 for the first-ever global showcase of four-on-four water polo.
The United States of America will field two teams in Dubrovnik. On the women’s side, six senior national team athletes join the fray in Rachel Fattal, Jenna Flynn, Ryann Neushul, Jordan Raney, Jewel Roemer, and Lauren Steele. For the men’s squad, Max Irving and Marko Vavic comprise the senior national team members. Nina Flynn and Haley Wan bring youth national team experience to the women’s team while Jake Howerton, Carson Kranz, JP Ohl, AJ Rossman, Stefan Vavic, and Chris Whitelegge offer high-level collegiate experience to the men’s team. New York Athletic Club is well represented with every Team USA athlete having capped up for the Winged Foot.
A draw will take place on August 30 to determine schedules and every game will be streamed live on the World Aquatics YouTube channel. More information can be found on the World Aquatics website.
