USA Swimming Announces 2026-27 National Team Roster

USA Swimming on Tuesday announced the national team roster for the 2026-27 season, presented by Toyota. The roster includes 101 swimmers (46 women, 55 men) in the pool and open water disciplines.

Results from Sept. 1, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2026, were used to determine the list with full selection criteria here. The roster draws from 29 states, led by 11 swimmers from Florida, and 22 universities, helmed by the 19 from the University of Texas.

Katie Ledecky is on the national team roster for the 15th time, the highest active total. One behind is Ryan Murphy, who is on his 14th national team. Among the debuts are American record-holder Anna Moesch and national titlist Josh Bey.

Regan Smith is on the team in eight events to lead the female performers. Kate Douglass is in six, and Claire Curzan five. On the men’s side, Ryan Erisman and Carson Foster lead with five nods each. Caeleb Dressel makes the team in four events.

“This National Team reflects the incredible depth of talent we have across the country,” USA Swimming National Team Executive Director and Coach Greg Meehan said in a press release. “We have veteran athletes continuing to perform at the highest level alongside a talented group making their first National Team. That combination of experience and emerging talent gives us a lot to be excited about as we build toward LA28.”
