The Alabama swimming and diving teams swept Delta State on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The Crimson Tide won the women’s meet 253-33 and the men’s meet 248-41.
In the women’s meet, Alabama’s Victoria Raymond, Sydney Blackhurst, Gaby Van Brunt and Zara Zallen won the 200 medley relay in 1:41.66.
Van Brunt won the 50 free in 23.30. Zallen won the 100 free (49.86). Raymond won the 100 fly (53.15).
Emma Bronson and Ella Justice tied to win the 100 backstroke, each getting to the wall in 54.74.
Iman Avdic won the 1000 free (10:01.31). Emma Sundermeyer won the 200 free in 1:50.02. Madyson Hartway won the 100 breaststroke (1:02.53) and 200 breast (2:18.03). Isabella Chavez-Varela won the 200 fly (2:01.60). Avery Luedke won the 200 back (2:00.10). Glenda Abonyl Toth won the 500 (4:59.60). Jada Scott won the 200 IM (2:03.94).
Zallen, Van Brunt, Marie Sagender and Sarah Parker won the 200 free relay (1:32.42).
Ciera Center won 1-meter diving (278.93). Aime Lira won 3-meter diving (302.03).
In the men’s meet, Alabama’s Carter Wright, Stelijn Louter, Gabriel Moura and Jonathan Hoole won the 200 medley relay (1:28.03).
Hoole won the 50 free in 20.08 and 100 free (43.38). Louter won the 200 breast (1:58.04). Tommy Hagar won the 100 fly (48.15).
Joao Pierre Campos won the 1000 free in 9:19.10 and the 500 (4:25.72). Eric-Stefan Andries won the 200 free (1:36.81). Cole Witmer won the 100 back (48.38) and 200 back (1:46.95). Noah Saylor won the 100 breast (54.46). Bogdan Zverev won the 200 fly (1:46.57) and 200 IM (1:48.15).
Wight, Hoole, Andries and Moura won the 200 free relay (1:21.31).
Colten Cryer won 3-meter (350.8) and Nigel Chambers won 1-meter (324.08).
