Adam Ramsay-Peaty, Thomas Ceccon and Kyle Chalmers shared the insight that comes with a combined five Olympic titles at a meet in Mexico.
The trio headlined the Copa Internacional meet which ran from September 4-6 in Querétaro in the north-west of the country.
They each hosted clinics for age-groupers with Ramsay-Peaty sharing his wisdom with swimmers aged eight and upwards.
They also held meet and greets with swimmers aged 8-14 and 15 plus that included a Q&A, activities, official group photos and a signed poster.
Around 1200 swimmers from 85 clubs registered for the meet which was held over short-course metres with the trio taking to the water for some racing.
The three-day event had an impact on Chalmers who said on social media that it was “The most fun I’ve had swimming in a very long time. I’ve found my love and joy for racing again. Thank you, Mexico! 🇲🇽”
That prompted a response from the event organisers copainternational2026 who said: “This is exactly why we do what we do. 🇲🇽❤️ Watching you fall in love with racing again has been an absolute privilege. Thank YOU for making the Copa unforgettable! 🏊🏻♂️🔥 See you in Mexico soon! 🇲🇽”
Ramsay-Peaty echoed the Australian’s sentiments when he posted: “Mexicooooooo 🇲🇽 Haven’t had that much fun racing in a long time and so glad I could do it with @kyle_chalmers3 & @ceccon_thomas – but it’ll be the last time I ever eat a cricket 🫠
“Hopefully see you again next year México 🇲🇽 I’ll have another Mariachi song ready to walk out to.
“Now back to work…. last picture was me at 6:45am this morning with heavy, heavy jet lag lol.”
