Early Rider Seeker 16 review – Light, well-mannered and cool

by

For years, the bicycle industry has overemphasised the need for the best kids’ bikes to be as light as possible – myself included, who, for a time, was part of the team that put together the Hoy-branded Kids Bike range. With even the most affordable kids’ bikes now considered reasonably light, have geometry and touchpoints been overlooked?

That’s why for my son’s first pedal bike, I put geometry first, and I don’t regret it for a minute. His Prevelo Zulu One has set him up perfectly on the pedals and filled him with confidence, culminating in a trip to the Forest of Dean, a mountain-bike haven on the Welsh-English border.
