European Championships, Day Six Prelims: Olympic & World Champions Set For Heats Battle

The penultimate day of prelims get underway at the Olympic Aquatic Centre with Olympic and world champions ready to do battle.

The men’s 100 back includes the likes of world record-holder Thomas Ceccon, world bronze medallist and home favourite Yohann Ndoye Brouard and 200 back champion Hubert Kos.

Ruta Meilutyte makes her first appearance in Paris with the Lithuanian already towing two 50 breast titles.

There is though no Leon Marchand in the 200IM prelims with it likely a precautionary measure given he’s going in the 200 fly final tonight.
