England winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will have a scan on a hamstring injury he suffered in Exeter’s win over Newcastle.
The 23-year-old came off 15 minutes into the second half of the 34-28 Prem win at Sandy Park – Exeter’s first of the season.
He has started all three of the Chiefs’ Prem games this season – scoring two tries at Bath last week.
He started all three of England’s Nations Championship games over the summer and crossed for tries against Fiji and Argentina.
England host Australia, Japan and New Zealand in November in the second half of the competition.
Feyi-Waboso missed this year’s Six Nations after hurting his hamstring in January and missed the second half of the 2024-25 season with a shoulder injury.
“It feels like he’s overloaded his hamstring a little bit,” Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter told BBC Sport.
“I don’t think it’s catastrophic, I don’t think it’s been a proper twang.
“He carried on after he first reported it, had another kick chase, came up with the ball at full speed, chased back but he just doesn’t feel right.
“So I expect that’ll get scanned and then we’ll assess it earlier in the week.
“I would say it’s more of a concern than a long-term worry.”
