Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am thrilled and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and D1 athletic career at The University of Wyoming! After years of navigating challenges with my body, making it to this point feels amazing. This journey has tested me in ways I never expected but it has also led me to where I am meant to be. I would love to thank my teammates on NSC for being there at every practice and pushing me, shoutout my BIG 3! To my friends, and family thank you for all of your support. Especially to my dad, thank you for your sacrifices, guidance, and showing me what hard work truly looks like. I wouldn’t be here without you. To my twin sister, thank you for getting me into this sport in the first place. I’m so grateful I get to share this journey with you and thankful for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you, Coach Anthony, for all of your faith in me through everything and always supporting my goals. Thank you Alecia for taking care of me and helping with all my recovery. Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to Coach Dave, Coach Sydney, and the entire Wyoming staff and team for this incredible opportunity. I am beyond excited to start this next chapter! All glory to God. GO POKES!!!! 💛🤎🤠”
