Carmel Swim Club’s Jack Street Verbals to Purdue for 2027
NEW COMMIT: Purdue University has picked up a new verbal commitment for the 2027-28 season and beyond from in-state standout Jack Street of Carmel, Indiana. Street is a Junior National qualifier who is very versatile.
Regarding his commitment, he said:
“I’m honored to announce my verbal commitment to study and swim at Purdue University! I want to thank my coaches, family, and friends for helping me get to this point, as well as Coach James and Coach Alex for giving me this opportunity. Boiler Up!”
Street trains year-round with Carmel Swim Club. He most recently competed at Madison Futures where he earned five best times and placed 15th in the 200m free. He had a great showing at Four Corners Speedo Sectionals in March, placing fourth in both the 200 back and 200 fly with four other top-16 finishes.
His best times include:
- 200 fly – 1:48.27
- 200 IM – 1:50.91
- 400 IM – 3:53.96
- 100 back – 49.13
- 200 back – 1:46.66
- 200 free – 1:39.88
Now a senior at Carmel High School, Street placed fourth in the 100 fly and ninth in the 100 back at the 2026 Indiana State Championships while also helping his 4×50 medley relay win the state title. He collected gold in the 100 fly and bronze in the 100 back at the IHSAA Sectional Championships the week prior.
The Boilermakers finished sixth at the 2026 Big Ten Championships.
