Leicester Tigers prop Archie van der Flier has signed a new contract with the Prem club.
The 24-year-old has featured 27 times for the East Midlands side across all competitions after making his competitive debut for the club in October 2023.
Van der Flier, who has previously featured for regional neighbours Nottingham in the second tier, featured at international level last season for the second-string England A side against an Ireland XV at Thomond Park in Limerick.
Tigers head coach Geoff Parling described the prop as “an important player for us right now and one with a huge upside”.
“You can see his effort and desire to get better each day and he’s a brilliant character to have in the environment, so we’re delighted to have him with us for the foreseeable future,” Parling told the club website., external
