Which Men’s Medley Relay is the Best in Team USA History? (VOTE HERE!)
As impossible as it might be to get a definitive answer, debating sports across eras is part of being a fan. Michael Jordan or LeBron James? Choosing which legend is the greatest in NBA history has been a hot topic over the years, with supporters digging in to support their guy. Regardless of choice, quality back-and-forth discussion can be generated, and participants can learn a bit more about a specific sport.
Now, Swimming World is ready to spark some debate about the legends of the pool. We figure it is a great opportunity to honor the sport, the many legends who have made their marks through the years, and the current crop of stars who are forming legacies of their own. We hope this process is enjoyable and informative and, most of all, will generate some healthy (and respectful) conversations.
We decided to start the series by asking this question: Since the 1960s, which decade would feature the best American men’s 400-meter medley relay? The options and opportunity to vote can be found in the poll below, and with the so many greats coming through the United States, this decision is not easy.
