It’s here.
Since Kim Mulkey has taken over LSU women’s basketball, the regular season matchup with Dawn Staley and South Carolina has become must-see TV.
The budding rivalry once again is a top-five clash, with the driver’s seat in the Southeastern Conference standings up for grabs between the two titans.
No. 4 LSU (20-0, 5-0 SEC) is one of two remaining undefeated teams ― along with No. 1 UCLA, who beat the No. 2 Gamecocks (18-1, 6-0) during the nonconference portion of the schedule earlier this season. Mulkey’s Tigers and Staley’s Gamecocks are two of the three SEC teams without a conference loss to this point.
