The Bulldogs kept pace with a No. 22 Ole Miss team in Oxford on Jan. 4 to open the SEC schedule but ended up 12 short at the final buzzer. They redeemed themselves against No. 7 Kentucky on Tuesday, earning their highest ranked win in more than two decades by holding the Wildcats under 70 points to start conference play at .500.
After No. 16 Oklahoma, it’s back-to-back beatings with No. 1 Tennessee and No. 2 Auburn on the docket. But let’s see them get through this ranked Sooners program first; the newest western SEC addition that they’ve never played in this century (seriously, they’ve only played once… in 1987).
