Auburn women’s basketball is set to take on Arizona in a women’s March Madness First Four matchup.
As two of the last four teams included, the Tigers and Wildcats, both No. 11 seeds, will face off Thursday for the right to play No. 6-seed Syracuse in the Round of 64 on Saturday.
Auburn (20-11) is making its first appearance in the Big Dance since 2019 and its first appearance under head coach Johnnie Harris. Arizona (17-15) will be making its fourth consecutive appearance.
The Tigers are led by first-team all-SEC selection Honesty Scott-Grayson, while the Wildcats have an all-conference player of their own in Helena Pueyo, an all-Pac-12 and two-time Pac-12 all-defensive team selection.
