Alabama women’s basketball faces its toughest test of the season on Thursday as it heads to Columbia, S.C., to take on the No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks.
The Crimson Tide (20-7, 7-5 SEC) came back to beat Auburn in thrilling fashion on Sunday at Coleman Coliseum, and now head back on the road once again.
Alabama has not beaten South Carolina since the 2007-08 season, and is currently on a 21-game losing streak against the Gamecocks. Thursday will be the 35th all time meeting between the schools with Alabama holding a record of 6-28 all-time.
