Indiana basketball is helpless in the first half Tuesday night as Illinois runs the lead to 28 points and leads 60-32 at halftime.
The Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall crowd has had it. Chants of “Fire Woodson” break out and students decide they’ve seen enough and leave.
Coach Mike Woodson’s team, coming off a blowout loss at Iowa, can’t contain the Illinois, who are hitting 48.8% from the field and 42.1% on 3-pointers while owning an 11-rebound advantage.
Kasparas Jakucionis has 19 points (3-of-6 3-pointers), Tomislav Ivisic 15 (3-of-5 3s) with 8 rebounds, combining for more points than the Hoosiers.
IU fans are livid.

Not to be the old man yelling at the sky with this #iubb team but are home games not holy anymore??? We were by no means elite when I was a student but even top ranked teams NEVER came in expecting to win. Home L’s were so rare. Feels like it means less now which is depressing 😩 pic.twitter.com/J0r4tl6D7i
