I could make a very strong argument for either Texas or Georgia to be the number one team in the country.
I think there’s very fair arguments either way.
But I’ll ask you Fitz did the A People Committee get it right?
Is Texas, should Texas be the number one team in the country?
You can’t tell me that Georgia looked like a number one team.
In fact, you can’t tell me, Georgia look better than Alabama.
I mean, just realistically, I would agree this past week, but I would say that Georgia against Clemson looked much better than Alabama looked against us f if we want to look at the entire resume through three weeks.
Yeah, II, I agree with that.
I also think Clemson is trash.
So like I just don’t think Clemson is a good football team.
So I think Georgia has beaten AAA couple of trash teams, but Texas clearly the number one team in the country, I mean to play as explosively as they’re playing and then on top of that, do it with arch getting time.
I know it wasn’t a great opponent.
But uh to me, Texas clearly, number one, I would have had no problem if they dropped Georgia beneath Alabama, Ohio State, I would have even had no problem if they dropped them beneath Tennessee.
I think Texas number one was absolutely the right pitch.
I thought the committee completely got it right with Texas at one and Georgia at two and I thought about this long and hard.
Uh, Texas clearly is number one, right two quarterbacks that could start anywhere in the country.
O lines elite defenses lights out.
Uh, that, that’s, that I think most of America agrees on in college football.
Re we reward wins and wins are hard to come by, especially in the SEC.
And in your conference.
And Georgia has now beaten Clemson and Kentucky, Ohio State who I believe may have the best roster in the country has beaten Akron in Western Michigan.
So, based on that, based on that, I can’t move Georgia behind Ohio State.
Uh, so, and Ohio State was at three, I think they’re the third best team in the country and that’s not a swap I could make.
So I, I believe Georgia belongs at two and the A and the A P poll got it right.
