Texas A&M women’s basketball continues a hard stretch of road games when they travel to Norman, Okla to play the No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday.
The Aggies (8-7,1-2) are coming off a 41-point loss to reigning national champions, South Carolina Gamecocks. A&M was out muscled and out played by the No. 2 team in the country; SC led in every statistical category, except turnovers.
Guard Solè Williams was the Aggies’ leading scorer for the game with 10 points and shot 2-for-6 from behind the arc; the Aggies’ bench produced 23 points.
Guard Sahara Jones and forward Lauren Ware contributed seven rebounds each.

A meager performance against the top team cannot loom over Texas A&M as they prepare for Oklahoma.
One of the newest additions to the SEC, the Sooners are No. 5 in scoring offense, averaging 89.2 points per game. Junior center Raegan Beers, the transfer from Oregon State, continues her domination on the court leading the Sooners in points (276), rebounds (150) and blocks (19).
Even though the Oklahoma has adjusted well to the SEC, the Sooners escaped close encounters with other ranked teams, including a 78-72 win over No. 20 Louisville and an 87-86 victory over No. 15 Tennessee.
