Tampa Bay Lightning Reassign Declan Carlile to Syracuse

by

The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Declan Carlile to the Syracuse Crunch, it was announced Wednesday.

Carlile, a product of Flint, Mich., has played in both the AHL and NHL this season, collecting one goal in his sole game with the Lightning and three points in 21 games with the Crunch.

Having joined the Lightning organization in 2022, Carlile has appeared in 161 career AHL regular season games, putting up 17 goals and 57 points.

With his first career NHL goal coming this past week, Carlile has clearly impressed Lightning management and could challenge for a roster spot in the near future. Although his offensive numbers have taken a hit in the AHL this season, he has proven he can produce in the past and can hang at the NHL level.
