South Carolina women’s basketball will be without freshman guard Maddy McDaniel and senior center Sakima Walker for a second straight game.
The Gamecocks (12-1) take on Missouri (11-4) in Mizzou Arena on Thursday (7 p.m., SEC Network).
The first SEC mandated injury report for the 2024-25 season was released Wednesday.
The Tigers will be without freshman point guard Londyn Oliphant, who is averaging 1.8 points and five minutes per game this season.
McDaniel and Walker were the only two names listed for the Gamecocks.
McDaniel was ruled out with a concussion for South Carolina’s game Sunday against Wofford.
It’s unclear when or how McDaniel got a concussion. South Carolina had a 10-day holiday break between games from Dec. 19-29.
McDaniel has been a spark plug off the bench for coach Dawn Staley and is averaging 5.2 points and 3.2 assists.
Walker has battled an ankle injury off and on this season but hasn’t played in a game since Nov. 28 against Iowa State. The 6-foot-5 Walker has played in six games for a total of 28 minutes this season.
