With a conference as loaded as the SEC is this season, you simply can never take a game lightly, with a few teams finding that out this past week.

Over the past week, the SEC saw a few upsets take place across the conference, while some of the best teams up to this point in the season were tested in road matchups as well. This was also the first week of the season in which all teams across the conference played all SEC opponents, meaning that no team played an out-of-conference foe over their three most recent games.

So, coming out of this past week’s action, why not update our SEC power rankings for the first time since non-conference play ended? Here is the latest update of our 2024-25 SEC basketball power rankings as of Monday, Jan. 13, beginning with No. 16:

16. South Carolina Gamecocks
