SARTA Athlete of the Week Nov. 10-16 | Irelyn Johnson, Tyler Hackenbracht win the vote

Athletes from Marlington and Massillon high schools won the voting for the SARTA Athlete of the Week for Nov. 10-16.

Irelyn Johnson of Marlington is the girls winner and Tyler Hackenbracht of Massillon wins for the boys. Johnson, who runs cross country, received 64.48% of the votes cast. Hackenbracht, a football player, received 82.41% of the votes cast.

A total of 671 votes were cast overall.

Selected the Eastern Buckeye Conference Runner of the Year.

Tyler Hackenbracht, Massillon football

Returned punts of 50 and 80 yards for a touchdowns before returning a kickoff 100 yards a for a TD, all in the first half, of Massillon’s 48-14 rout of Teays Valley in a regional semifinal.
