Rajon Rondo is seeking to have a criminal gun charge against him dismissed. According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the former NBA star’s lawyer filed a motion to dismiss the unlawful carrying of a handgun charge.
Rondo’s attorney argues that the charge is unconstitutional, asserting that the ex-Boston Celtics point guard is protected by the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
The charge was brought against Rondo following his arrest late last month during a traffic stop in Indiana, where authorities claimed to have found a handgun on him.
