STILLWATER — In the late hours of National Signing Day eve, Oklahoma State added to its recruiting class with an in-state prospect.
Miguel Chavez, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman from Muskogee, announced his decision to commit to the Cowboys late Tuesday night, just hours before the early signing period opens Wednesday morning.
Chavez had been committed to UNLV, but OSU’s interest continued to grow in recent weeks.
Chavez also had offers from Baylor, Army, Navy and others.
He is the 19th player overall in the class and the fifth offensive lineman, along with Jaylan Beckley, Ryker Haff, Simona Fuailetolo and Isaiah Kema, who signed with the Cowboys in 2023 but immediately began a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
