Will the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish be on the field today in the second round of the College Football Playoff?
Following a 27-17 victory over the No. 9 Indiana Hoosiers in the first round of the College Football Playoff, Notre Dame will return to the field to face the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 8:45 EST in the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
Georgia has a 3-0 lead in head-to-head matchups. Notre Dame has been playing well since a stunning loss to Northern Illinois in its second game of the season, especially on defense. The Bulldogs will be without starting quarterback Carson Beck, who is injured.
