NCAA Division I Women’s Championships Day 1 Heat Sheets
The 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships opens from Athens, Georgia, at the University of Georgia on Wednesday night.
There are two relays and will be timed finals beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
The first is the 200-yard medley relay, and the session will close with the 800 freestyle relay.
The 200 medley relay will have three heats.
Ohio State has the top seed in the 200 medley relay and will be in lane 4 of heat 3 with a seed time of 1:33.47. The Buckeyes will be flanked by Virginia (1:33.69) and Cal (1:33.89), with Texas (1:34.14) and USC (1:34.07) also in the surrounding lanes.
North Carolina is the middle lane in the second heat and Duke is the top seed in the first heat.
In the 800 free relay, Virginia has the top seed in 6:46.28 and will be in lane 4 in the third of three heats.
The Cavaliers will be flanked by Florida (6:49.65) and Stanford (6:53.33), with USC (6:53.54) and Tennessee (6:53.43) also looking to make a move.
Host Georgia will be in lane 4 of the second heat, while Auburn will be in the middle of the pool for the first of three heats.
