Missouri State women’s basketball will quickly have to move on from its thrilling win over Drake on Friday night for another important game on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Bears will host Northern Iowa at 2 p.m. at Great Southern Bank Arena.
Beth Cunningham’s team is coming off a 72-68 overtime win over Drake, in which Paige Rocca made a 3 at the regulation horn to force the extra five minutes.
Northern Iowa snapped a two-game losing streak on Friday with an 84-59 win at Southern Illinois. The Panthers were led by Maya McDermott’s 21 points.
