Medals Unveiled for 2024 US Olympic Swimming Trials

by

USA Swimming has unveiled the medals for the 2024 Olympic Swimming Trials.

The medals have the U.S. Olympic Team logo, complete with the American flag and Olympic rings.

The medals then have an outline of the Eiffel Tower as a nod to the 2024 Olympics being hosted in Paris.

The trials will take place from June 15-23 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Single-day tickets are on sale here.

After four straight Olympic Trials, dating back to 2008, in Omaha, the Trials shift to Indianapolis. It was also the location of the 1924 Olympic Trials, for a Games held in Paris that year. Trials will be held in the spacious setting of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.

“In Indianapolis, we are known for hosting major sporting events, and the innovation we’ve been able to dream up with USA Swimming to host these Trials in Lucas Oil Stadium makes this a must-see event,” Indiana Sports Corp President Patrick Talty said. “With the location and accessibility of Indy, swimming fans and families will get the chance to experience history, and our community could not be more excited for this opportunity as all lanes lead to Indy.”

Three temporary pools – two 50-meter and one 25-meter – will be installed over the field in Lucas Oil Stadium, the first time a swim meet will occupy an NFL stadium. The Indiana Convention Center, connected to the stadium and many downtown hotels, will host USA Swimming’s Toyota Aqua Zone, an interactive fan-activation and retail area. USA Swimming House presented by OneAmerica, a vibrant hospitality hub, and USA Swimming Live serve to offer elevated experiences for fans.
