Lavoie has career day for UNH women’s basketball team in win over Stonehill

Dec. 30—Derry’s Elizabeth Lavoie scored a career-high 18 points for the University of New Hampshire women’s basketball team in its 74-57 victory at Stonehill College on Monday night in North Easton, Mass.

Lavoie, a freshman guard and Pinkerton Academy graduate, was second on the Wildcats (5-7) in scoring with 18 points.

Lavoie has played in six games for UNH.

Senior forward Clara Gomez scored a game-high 25 points for the Wildcats.

The Skyhawks (4-8) received 14 points from guard Brooke Paquette, a sophomore from Hudson and a Bishop Guertin High School graduate.
