Knicks center Mitchell Robinson has missed the team’s last 50 games while recovering from ankle surgery, but now there’s at least a chance he will make his return on Wednesday night in Toronto.
The 25-year-old was officially upgraded to questionable on Wednesday morning.
Robinson last played on Dec. 8 in Boston.
Prior to the injury, Robinson was having one of his finest seasons as a pro, averaging 6.2 points, 10.3 rebounds (career high), 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks.
Isaiah Hartenstein has assumed the starting center role with Robinson sidelined, and he’s played well during that span, averaging 8.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 blocks.
