Knicks’ Jalen Brunson ruled out vs. Cavaliers due to sore left knee

by

Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson has officially been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a sore left knee.

Brunson left just 35 seconds into the contest after suffering a non-contact injury on a contested drive to the hoop.

The star point guard remained down for a few moments before attempting to get back up, but he was unable to put any weight on his left leg and needed assistance to get to the locker room.

The Knicks initially said he was questionable to return due to a sore left knee, but shortly into the second half he was officially ruled out for the rest of the night.

Miles ‘Deuce’ McBride stepped up for the Knicks during the first half in Brunson’s absence, contributing 10 points and three assists across 28 minutes off the bench.
