Team India and reigning champions Team China engaged in a nail-biting encounter on Table 2. Ayhika Mukherjee of India set the pace by defeating world number 1, Sun Yingsha 3-1. Sreeja Akula also got the better of world number 2, Wang Yidi to set up a thrilling close to the match. However, Team China fought back resiliently, ultimately securing the win after intense matches between the two teams.

Despite a valiant effort from Poland, the home team prevailed, buoyed by the passionate support of the crowd.
