Following a convincing 67-41 win against Providence Sunday, the UConn women’s basketball team hopes to improve to 3-0 in Big East Conference play in their game against Marquette Wednesday.

With 23 points, UConn’s Paige Bueckers led all scorers in Sunday’s game against Providence. UConn’s Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd contributed 14 points and eight points, respectively in that contest.

The win against Providence was a step in the right direction for UConn, as they lost their previous game against Southern California 70-72. UConn is now 11-2 overall and 2-0 in Big East Conference play.
