The UConn women’s basketball team will play Villanova Wednesday.
Wednesday’s game will mark the second time this season UConn has played Villanova. In the first meeting between the two teams on Jan. 5, UConn’s Paige Bueckers exited the game with a sprained left knee, which caused her to miss two games.
Despite Bueckers’ injury, UConn cruised to an 83-52 win in the game against Villanova Jan. 5. That game was on Villanova’s home court and now UConn will welcome the Wildcats to Storrs for a matchup at Gampel Pavilion.
