The Iowa State women’s basketball team has reached the finish line of the non-conference schedule.
But the Cyclones’ final test is among their toughest.
Iowa State will take on UConn in the Invesco QQQ Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase on Tuesday in Connecticut.
It’s a huge opportunity for Iowa State to take down one of the top programs in women’s basketball.
The meeting is the fourth between the teams, who last met in 2010. Iowa State picked up a 65-58 win during their second meeting, in 1999.
The Cyclones are coming off an 87-55 victory over Eastern Illinois.
