All the pieces are officially in place for Ohio State to get started in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Drawing the No. 2 seed in the Portland 3 region, the Buckeyes are set to host the first two rounds of the tournament at Value City Arena, where they will take on the No. 15 seed Maine Black Bears in the Round of 64. This is Ohio State’s highest placement in the tournament since 2010.
Following a NCAA Tournament run in 2023 where Ohio State made it all the way to the Elite Eight before falling to Virigina Tech, the Buckeyes are itching for the opportunity to make their way back, and maybe even further this time around. Before they can do that, they have to get through their first round matchup.
When does Ohio State women’s basketball play in the Round of 64 of the 2024 NCAA Tournament?
Ohio State will take on Maine at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22.
The Buckeyes’ game will be followed by the No. 7 seed Duke taking on the No. 10 seed Richmond at Value City Arena at 2:30 p.m. The winners of the two matchups will meet in the Round of 36 on Sunday, March 24, the time of that game is still to be determined.
