Caeleb Dressel Discusses Newest Role – Fatherhood – During Pro Series (Video)
Last week was strong for Caeleb Dressel, as the Olympic champion and Team USA veteran left the USA TYR Pro Swim Series stop in Westmont with victories in the 50-meter freestyle and 100 butterfly. The showing was another step forward for Dressel on the road to this summer’s United States Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. Dressel is the reigning Olympic champion in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly, having won those events at the 2020 Games in Tokyo.
These days, Dressel is balancing his training with a new role – fatherhood. Dressel and his wife, Meghan, welcomed a baby boy, August Wilder Dressel, on February 17. During the Pro Series, Dressel discussed his new duties as a dad, which include plenty of diaper changes. As Dressel spoke about August, he was all smiles.
Here is a video clip of Dressel addressing parenthood.
