Feb. 17—BEMIDJI — A lopsided first half led to a third consecutive defeat for the Bemidji High School girls basketball team.
Cloquet/Esko/Carlton edged out BHS by 15 points in the opening frame before rolling to an 80-60 win at the BHS Gymnasium.
Katey Milbrandt paced Bemidji with 17 points. Karley LaZella (13), Clara Bieber (10) and Matjea Malterud also chipped in offensively. Leilani Fonoti had a game-high 24 points for C/E/C. Ava Carlson (17) and Carly Johnson (12) also ended in double figures.
