Aus vs WI 2023-24 – Matthew Short ruled out of final ODI with Ben McDermott called up

There are no spare batters left in Australia’s squad after Travis Head was sent home to rest following the first ODI at the MCG. McDermott scored a stunning 146 not out for Queensland in a Sheffield Shield match against Tasmania on Saturday. He will link up with the Australia squad in Canberra on Monday.
