What a week for Iowa State women’s basketball.
After knocking off AP No. 24 West Virginia at home on Wednesday, ISU (12-4, 5-0 Big 12) once again defended Hilton Coliseum by upsetting AP No. 4 Baylor on Saturday, 66-63.
Iowa State was led by Audi Crooks (23 points), who made an and-1 layup with 24.1 seconds remaining to give her team a one-point it would not relinquish.
The victory over Baylor (which is No. 7 in the coaches’ poll) marked the 18th top-10 win in program history, all coming under 28-year head coach Bill Fennelly.
