South Dakota State rattled off a 12-0 run late in the fourth quarter to seize control of the Summit League championship game against North Dakota State and ultimately won, 67-54.
The Jackrabbits were sloppy in the first quarter, committing eight turnovers but still led by one entering the second quarter.
South Dakota State’s defense was consistent throughout, holding the Bison to 29% from the field in the first quarter, 26% in the second quarter and 26.7% in the fourth.
Paige Meyer led the team in scoring with 18 points and was easily the most impactful player on the floor. She also added six rebounds, four assists and a steal.
South Dakota State had four players score in double digits.
