Magomed Ankalaev, Jim Miller lead $50,000 winners

The UFC handed out four post-fight bonuses after Saturday’s card, including to the main and co-main event winners.

After UFC Fight Night 234, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances in Las Vegas. Check out the winners below.

Marcus McGhee def. Gaston Bolanos via TKO (strikes) – Round 2, 3:29

Marcus McGhee (9-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) took out. Gaston Bolanos (7-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the second round and kept his 100 percent finishing rate intact. He has stoppages in all of his wins and now has three bonuses in the UFC.

Brunno Ferreira def. Phil Hawes via knockout (punches) – Round 1, 4:55

Brunno Ferreira (11-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) put away Phil Hawes (12-6 MMA, 4-4 UFC) with a brutal knockout with just 5 seconds left in the first round for his first UFC bonus.

Jim Miller def. Gabriel Benitez via submission (face crank) – Round 3, 3:25

Jim Miller (37-17 MMA, 26-16 UFC) added to his UFC records for fights and wins with a third-round submission of Gabriel Benitez (23-12 MMA, 7-7 UFC). It was Miller’s second straight bonus. Amazingly, he has finishes in nine straight wins and hasn’t gone to the judges for a win since 2016.

Magomed Ankalaev def. Johnny Walker via knockout (punches) – Round 2, 2:42

Magomed Ankalaev (19-1-1 MMA, 10-1-1 UFC) put a stamp on his brief rivalry with Johnny Walker (21-8 MMA, 7-5 UFC) with a vicious second-round knockout. The pair had a no contest in 2023, but after a solid first round from Walker, Ankalaev left little doubt and put himself in position to ask for a light heavyweight title shot. The bonus was Ankalaev’s first since October 2020.
