NEW COMMIT: Chapel Hill, N.C. native Yari Brock has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Michigan beginning in Fall 2028. Brock is a versatile Junior National qualifier.
She will join Elsa Anderson and Feagin Kaminski in Ann Arbor as a member of the Wolverines’ Class of 2032.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Michigan. First, I’d like to thank my parents, brother, all of my teammates on NCAC, and my coaches for their constant support. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I’d also like to give a special thank you to Coach Brown, Coach DeSelm, and Coach Watts for always believing in me and helping me become the person and swimmer that I am today. Finally, none of this would’ve been possible without Coach Matt, Coach Priscilla, and the entire coaching staff at the University of Michigan. I am incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity, and I cannot wait to be a Michigan Wolverine! GO BLUE!!”
