A shortened route on stage 15 of the Vuelta a España saw Wout van Aert triumph in Córdoba, as he won the sprint from a five-rider breakaway. The Visma-Lease a Bike rider seized an opportunity to jump out of the peloton at the intermediate sprint with around 30km to go and drew a small group clear, which stayed away to the finish.
