This weekend will see several major matchups during the first round of the College Football Playoffs, including Clemson vs. Texas, an in-state competition between Indiana vs. Notre Dame, and an SEC/Big Ten battle between No. 9 Tennessee and No. 8 Ohio State. The winner of the Tennessee-Ohio State game will play No. 1 Oregon (who finished their season with a stellar 13-0 record) at the Rose Bowl on January 1.
