Ball State football coach Mike Uremovich announced the addition of six more members to his coaching staff on Friday.
After announcing nine staff earlier this week, Uremovich continued with three full-time position coaches, two assistants and a chief of staff that will manage day-to-day operations of the Ball State program.
Notably absent, however, is an offensive coordinator. With Uremovich as the primary play caller, there is not a formal offensive coordinator listed, and Uremovich will be responsible for the usual duties of that position.

Here are the six assistant coaches announced Friday, as well as a final look at the full coaching staff for 2025:
Craig Harmon, pass game coordinator/quarterbacks
Craig Harmon will serve as Ball State’s pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He is the most experienced of the new additions with 24 years of the sideline. Nine of those years came on staffs with Uremovich, as the two spent time together at Northern Illinois, Temple and St. Francis.
Harmon was a walk-on quarterback at NIU from 1998-2000 and finished his playing career at Division II Quincy University, where he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant. At St. Francis, he was the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator for four seasons under Uremovich from 2006-09. He then joined NIU in 2014, where he was eventually reunited with Uremovich from 2016-18 and subsequently followed him to Temple.
Harmon spent the past four years at Chicago-area high schools, where he helped Batavia High School and Benet Academy to playoff appearances in three of those seasons.
Madison Bunch, running backs
Madison Bunch will lead the Cardinals running backs. He began his coaching career in 2018 as a wide receivers coach at Hendrix College after a playing career at Southern Nazarene and Central Arkansas. He was a graduate assistant at Arkansas Tech from 2019-20 and spent 2021 on the staff at North Alabama. He served as the recruiting coordinator and assistant wide receivers coach at Southeast Missouri State when the Redhawks won the Ohio Valley Conference in 2022. After a year as an offensive analyst and assistant running backs coach at Rutgers, Bunch rejoined SEMO in 2024 as the running backs coach.
Jalen Moss, linebackers and safeties
Jalen Moss will lead Ball State’s “snipers” — a hybrid position blending linebackers and safeties. Moss played in the secondary at Fishers High School and Indiana State. Uremovich gave Moss his first coaching job in 2022 as the cornerbacks coach at Butler, where he has spent the last three years.
Nick Fiacable, special teams coordinator
Nick Fiacable will serve as Ball State’s special teams coordinator. He graduated from Indiana in 2020 and currently serves as a special teams analyst at Connecticut, which faces North Carolina in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl on Dec. 28.
Mayomi Olootu, assistant secondary coach
Mayomi Olootu was named the assistant secondary coach, a promotion from his 2024 role as a graduate assistant. Olootu played in the secondary at Northern Illinois on three bowl teams while Uremovich was assistant head coach. He will work closely with another former Huskies defensive back, cornerbacks coach Ray Smith.
Pete Roley, chief of staff
Operations veteran Pete Roley will lead the Ball State day-to-day operations as the chief of staff. He comes to Ball State after two seasons as director of football operations at Purdue and two in the same role at Illinois. Prior to four years in the Big Ten, Roley spent eight years at NC State and four at NIU, where he crossed paths with Uremovich at both schools.
