Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day prepares to lead his team onto the field for the NCAA football game against the Indiana Hoosiers at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024.

We are now less than a week away from the Ohio State football program hosting the first ever playoff game inside of Ohio Stadium. It’s the first ever season of the 12-team CFP, and the Buckeyes will welcome the Tennessee Volunteers for the No. 8 vs. No. 9 seed contest, with the winner moving on to face No. 1 seed Oregon in the quarterfinals.

On Monday, Ohio State head coach, Ryan Day, along with offensive coordinator, Chip Kelly, were made available to the media to field questions from reporters and talk about how the preparation is going for the contest in the College Football Playoff, but also to still reflect on what went wrong against Michigan.

It’s really the first time we’ve heard from Kelly, the guy who has a lot of sway in the offensive gameplan and play calling, so the media was chomping at the bit to get his thoughts on what he saw in the 13-10 loss to the Wolverines.

If you missed any of the press conference, you can catch it in its entirety here thanks to video obtained from the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel.

Ohio State and Tennessee are set to kick things off at 8 p.m. ET inside the ‘Shoe on Saturday night. ESPN will have the broadcast after many OSU fans clamored for a night game.

Wish granted.

We’ll have more on this game throughout the week, so check back often.
