Michigan State football to host offensive line transfer on official visit

by

Michigan State’s offensive line coach Jim Michalczik works with the team during the first day of football camp on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in East Lansing.

Michigan State football is set to host an elite running back transfer on an official visit, Monday. Now, the Spartans will be hosting an offensive lineman on the same two days.

Caleb Carter, a 6-foot-3, 310 pound offensive line transfer from Western Carolina will be officially visiting East Lansing from Dec. 9 to 10. The visit was first reported by On3’s Jason Killop.

Carter would most likely translate to the guard position and would have one year of eligibility remaining.

Michigan State has a need for offensive lineman, planning to pursue and land 3-4 in the transfer portal, and Carter is the perfect prospect to get the ball rolling.
