Latest US LBM Coaches Poll released after Week 12. Did Ohio State move up?

by

Ohio State Buckeyes tight end Gee Scott Jr. (88) celebrates a catch in front of Northwestern Wildcats linebacker Greyson Metz (57) during the first half of the NCAA football game at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024.

One of the things we like to look at here at Buckeyes Wire is where Ohio State lands each week in the US LBM Coaches Poll. The latest poll was just released after Week 12 and we’re at it again.

Ohio State took care of business in Wrigleyville by beating the Northwestern Wildcats 31-7 but the Buckeyes were ranked No. 2 already last week. And while Oregon didn’t exactly play its best game on the road vs. Wisconsin, it still won, so there wasn’t an opportunity for OSU to move up.

The Buckeyes remained at No. 2 just behind the Ducks, but ahead of Texas (3), Penn State (4), Indiana (5), Notre Dame (6), Alabama (7), Georgia (8), Ole Miss (9), and Miami (10).

Here’s a look at the rest of the US LBM Coaches top 25 poll.
